Sigean had the pleasure of accompanying the Irish Skye dance troupe once again at a new festival in Unicoi, Tennessee. The day of activities was put together by the Upper East Tennessee Celtic Society and included demonstrations of Scottish heavy athletics, dance and traditional Irish music from Sigean, as well as a fun performance of pub songs by Kryss Dula & Friends.

Our fearless leader, Sigean guitarist Tom Swadley played his heart out on April 11th in Knoxville, backing up legendary piper Paddy Keenan. Needless to say, we are all very proud and think Tom did a fine job.
Saturday, March 15th, Sigean had the pleasure of playing live on WETS-FM’s (89.5) Studio One with host Dave Carter. The band played new and old favorites and talked with Dave about Irish music in the region. We owe a special thanks to Maelee, Clemmie & Morgana for the pics!
